Message from the Coordinator

The Executive Course in Project Management aims at providing participants with the opportunity to contact with the latest international developments in the area, oriented towards performing roles in a context of innovation and change based on projects, and of organizational transformation. Throughout the course, the topics covered will enable participants to gain and enhance knowledge in a conceptual framework of recommended practices established by the most respected standardization organizations of reference worldwide.


Throughout the course, the practical alignment of concepts, methods and techniques through case studies, will establish a strong connection with the organizational environment.

At the end of the course, participants will have a systematic perspective of Project Management, its operational tools and techniques, its importance and strategic framework in the organization.

The course includes the international seminar “Change Management standards and practices according to the Human Change Management Institute / Association of Change Management Professionals”. This seminar will be presented via live webinar by the President of the Human Change Management Institute (HCMI), Vicente Gonçalves.

Who attends

The course is designed for technical professionals and middle management (heads of department/functional managers, members of project teams), of different areas (Engineering, IT, Purchasing, Quality, Human Resources, …), interested in obtaining general knowledge about Project Management and its potential in an organizational context.

Candidates Profile

Applicants must have a high education degree. Candidates who do not have this requirement may be accepted provided their background and knowledge acquired by professional experience justify such admission. The process of selection and ranking of candidates will be done according to the requirements defined in the Regulation governing this training and always based on curricular and professional judgment, taking into account the submission order of the respective applications.

This seminar will be presented via live webinar by the President of the Human Change Management Institute (HCMI), Vicente Gonçalves. The standard on Organizational Change Management, the HUCMI-BOK®, and the Human Change Management Professional certification (HCMP®) conferred internationally by this institute, will be presented.

Payment Policy

When applying it should be paid 10% of the programme's amount. The remaining amount must be settled in accordance with the payment schedule set. VAT at the legal rate must be added to all prices.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation of an entry within 15 days prior to the start of the programme will lead to no reimbursement of the registration fee. A no-show or cancellation of a registration after the start of the programme involves its full payment. In certain circumstances, the Católica Porto Business School may postpone or cancel the implementation of a programme and in that case shall return in full all the amounts charged.

Special conditions

The attendance fee will have a 10% discount in case there are two enrolments from the same institution or 15% for three or more enrolments. Former students of Catholic University and EGE - Business Management School will benefit from a 10% discount. AEP Members will have a 10% discount and the associated AEP Plus benefit of a deduction of 13%. Discounts are not cumulative.
