Having a Law degree and having enriched my academic career always in areas of Law, I had felt the need not only to acquire competences in management area, but also to open new horizons, in fields of knowledge that, by nature, were beyond my comfort zone. It was for this purpose that I sought the Intensive Management Programme of Católica Porto Business School. The fact that it is a nationally and internationally recognized and accredited institution has further strengthened the sense of my choice.
The Intensive Management Program, with duration and schedule compatible with the simultaneous exercise of my professional activity and essential reconciliation of personal life, allowed me to obtain a strategic and integrated vision of a company in several areas, such as Marketing, People and Operations Management, Strategy and Competitiveness.
As the School has a close connection with the business environment, it is important to emphasize that the content of the classes corresponds to the real organizations needs and businesses, in an eminently practical learning scenario, guided to the concrete challenges of the companies. The challenge throughout the course was a constant stimulus, in order to instill an effective capacity to question, to think critically, to rethink strategies and paths, to build our own solutions and to identify new challenges. Without doubt, it was a goal accomplished, an experience that I highly recommend!
