Availability of university facilities and logistical support when holding company presentations and candidate selection interviews. Depending on the target audience of the company's interest, the best framework for each initiative is then defined together with the company.

Internships and projects

Companies can propose internships and simultaneously assume the role of mentors or supervisors of students within the organisation. Internships may be summer internships, for Bachelor degrees, or curriculum internships with respect to Masters programmes, launching research questions that enable students to finish their Masters final assignment within an organisational context.

Internship opportunities are extremely meaningful experiences for students thus providing direct contact with the real work environment and the confrontation with their own knowledge and skills.

The Career and Development Office ensures the proactive raising of the following types of internships and projects:

Summer internships

Summer internships target pre-finalists graduates in Economics and Management who have distinguished themselves with the best performance in the subject of Multidisciplinary Project II. The internships usually take place between July and September and have a minimum duration of 6 weeks and 210 hours.

Curriculum internships (MFA)
These internships are aimed at final year students of various SEM Masters programmes wishing to carry out their Masters Final Assignment (MFA) in Internship mode.
In addition to the fact that the student develops everyday tasks defined by the company in the internship plan, it is asked to the sheltering company to set a research question that the student will have to answer in its Final Report. These internships usually take place between the months of September and February. They have a minimum duration of 4 months and 560 hours and the students are guided by a School faculty member.

Curriculum Projects (MFA)

The curriculum projects are aimed at final year students of various SEM Masters Programmes who intend to carry out their Masters Final Assignment (MFA) in the Project mode.
In this context, students develop a project that addresses the question or need identified by the company in the form of a research question. In this mode the student does not have a job neither a timetable in the sheltering company, and is only present every time the company defines as necessary to develop the project. The projects usually take place between the months of September and February and the students are guided by a School faculty member.

The period of raising internships and projects takes place annually between the months of February and April.

In addition to the internships and these projects, there is the possibility of holding the Supplementary Internships Curriculum, with a protocol with the University. These internships may arise at the initiative of students or businesses.
