The MSc. in Marketing at Católica Porto Business School has provided me with a rich Marketing theoretical framework which has empowered me to be able to understand and to be argumentative regarding Marketing topics in all types of professional situations.

The fact that we are also pushed to constantly improve our soft skills and our ability to work in groups, putting into practice all the theory that is taught, is a fairly accurate way of replicating the type of challenges one will face in a Marketing department of a company.

Having this in mind and considering the opportunities of networking, the positive support given by professors, together with all the learning experiences, I can confidently state that the journey throughout this master degree, not only polishes you into an all-around Marketing professional, but it truly becomes a part of you.

I could not be more thankful for the experience and knowledge exchange that I gained during the Master of Marketing. It was undoubtedly a very important learning milestone that helped me become more complete professionally. From these two years I took the relationships created with the rest of the class, made friends for life, learned with highly qualified teachers and got the chance to get a first contact with the world of work. I consider it was a wise choice that helped me both to complement my basic education - degree in economics - and also to develop skills that are essential for the market labor.

With a strong teamwork component, enhanced by the contact between people with different backgrounds, I can conclude it was an enriching experience that I could only recommend to others.

I have chosen the MSc in Marketing at Católica Porto Business School due to its multicultural environment, from classmates to teachers, and practical education.

On the one hand, it is a great advantage to be able to work with colleagues from different nationalities and backgrounds. On the other hand, it is an astounding opportunity to have invited teachers from well-known universities across Europe. As a full-time working student, I was also looking for a Masters that could complement the practical knowledge I was gathering, and that could give me the boost and skills that I was looking for in my career.

Finally, the commitment of the teachers to support and steer the students' investigations on both quantitative and qualitative marketing studies is what makes Católica Porto Business School so distinctive from other universities in our country.

Working as a marketing manager in a big consulting company, I was facing only one type of marketing communication, B2B, which is more personal and relationship-based. The marketing master course in Catolica Porto Business School has helped me to broaden my knowledge in terms of consumer behavior, as well as to deep-dive into the budgeting and forecasting of marketing activities. The degree I received in Catolica has turned me into a more universal specialist, and gave me confidence in my professional knowledge base.
