SLab and AIMMAP assess servitization strategies in the metallurgical and metal-mechanic industries in Portugal.
SLab and the Association of Metallurgical, Metal-Mechanic and other related industries of Portugal (AIMMAP) carried out a study, within the scope of a national project “Metal – Generating the Future project”, to evaluate the current state of implementation of servitization’ strategies in the metallurgical and metal-mechanic industries in Portugal.
SLab recently presented two articles at international conferences related to Servitization and the Digital Economy. The first, entitled “What can servitized manufacturers learn from their customers?”, was presented at the 2019 Servitization Spring Conference that took place in May, in Sweden.
The European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) awarded Rui Soucasaux Sousa with the Honorary Fellow distinction. EurOMA is the leading European scientific association in Operations Management. The award recognizes Rui Sousa’s contribution to research and education in Operations Management, as well as the service provided to the association and to the scientific community in Operations Management in Europe.
